The selected individual will join a dedicated group of seasoned investment bankers responsible for evaluating and analyzing the healthcare market, sourcing acquisition candidates, and taking a significant role in the deal process. Key Tasks and Responsibilities

You will work with a dedicated team performing analytical research on various sectors within healthcare services. In this role you will focus on a few specific areas of healthcare and spend a significant amount of time on the phone speaking to potential clients in those specific sectors. You will also be participating in marketing, strategic advisory, valuations, add-on acquisitions, etc. You will be exposed to all levels of a transaction from marketing to due diligence and ultimately, the closing of a transaction. Primary responsibilities will focus on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of sectors within the healthcare industry, along with an eventual focus on assisting in the sourcing of new clients. Key tasks include:

• Qualitatively evaluate potential transactions, performing detailed sector and company research and analysis
• Prepare portfolio company analysis, including valuations and financial modeling
• Prepare materials for internal and external meetings
• Interact with industry experts and build strong relationships with top-tier executives within the healthcare industry
• Attend conferences within the healthcare industry
• Prepare up-to-date market material for internal distribution and education

Qualifications

Prior investment banking analyst experience is not a necessity. The individual who fills this role must have excellent skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as strong financial modeling skills.

Compensation

Provident Healthcare Partners compensates employees based on both individual performance and also based on the overall success of the firm. Bonuses are paid upon the close of transactions rather than upon the annual success of the Company. Compensation is competitive with other boutique firms.
